I have been an illustrator since before I knew people made careers out of it. I was thrilled that I got away with drawing all through school, and plan to continue getting away with it now that I've graduated (Savannah College of Art and Design, B.F.A. Illustration, 2007).
Currently I am designing for a stationery company in New York City and drawing along all the edges of things that are supposed to be serious.
Authorship has taken a lead roll in my recent work as I search for more varied surfaces I can attach myself to. I began littlepress in 2010 when I became fascinated with the relationship between press and paper. littlepress has allowed me to share my sketches as individual pieces of art; the medium of letterpress lends them a presence that is lost when they hide between the pages of my sketchbook.
